Terms and conditions

Last updated 23 October 2026.

These terms cover two things: the use of this website, and the sale of goods through the online shop. Please read them before you order. By using this site you accept the terms in part one; by placing an order you accept the terms in part two as well.

Who we are

This website is operated by ATM Machine Tools Ltd, trading as Spinner Deburring. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 02716112, and our registered office and trading address is Unit 4 Molly Millar’s Bridge, Wokingham, Berkshire, RG41 2WY, United Kingdom. You can reach us on 0118 977 0099 or at [email protected].

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean ATM Machine Tools Ltd, and “you” means the person or business using the site or placing an order.

Part one: using this website

Technical information is guidance, not a specification

The process descriptions, application examples, illustrations and answers published here are general engineering guidance, written to help you decide whether magnetic pin deburring is worth investigating for your components. They are not a specification, a performance guarantee or an operating manual.

Results depend on the material and grade, the burr, the component geometry, the media and compound selected, the machine settings, loading, separation, cleaning and inspection. Nothing on this site should be treated as confirmation that a given result is achievable on your parts. That is what a representative trial and a written agreement on acceptance criteria are for.

Illustrations on this site, including the process schematic, are drawn to explain a principle. They are not dimensioned drawings of a particular machine.

Commissioning, operation and maintenance must follow the current documentation supplied with the specific machine and the safety data for the compound in use. Instructions and settings must not be carried across between machine models or generations. If you need a decision you can rely on, ask us in writing and we will answer in writing.

Availability

We try to keep the site available and its content current, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it. We may correct content without notice.

Your account

If you create an account, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached or the account is being used fraudulently.

Acceptable use

You may not use this site unlawfully, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation or security, submit false details or malicious content, or extract its content systematically for republication or for a competing commercial database.

Intellectual property

The text, images, illustrations and design of this site are owned by us or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may view, download and print pages for your own business purposes in evaluating our products. Any other copying, republication or commercial use requires our written consent. Product names, brands and logos appearing here, including sPINner, remain the property of their respective owners, and nothing on this site grants any licence to use them.

Links

Where we link to a manufacturer, supplier or technical document elsewhere, we do so for information. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.

Part two: buying from the shop

Quotations take precedence

Machines, tooling and larger orders are usually supplied against a written quotation. Where we have given you a written quotation or order acknowledgement for the goods concerned, its terms, specification, lead time and price apply in place of anything inconsistent in this part of these terms.

Products as described

We describe products as accurately as we can. Images are illustrative: finishes, fittings and supplied accessories can vary, and a photograph may show optional items. Where a dimension, capacity or specification matters to your application, confirm it with us in writing before you order. Specifications may change where a manufacturer changes a product; we will tell you if a change affects an order you have already placed.

Prices

Prices are in pounds sterling. VAT, where it applies, and any delivery charge are shown in the basket and at checkout before you pay. Prices may change, but a change after you place an order does not affect that order.

Pricing and product information is published carefully, but errors happen. If we discover a material pricing or description error before we have accepted your order, we will contact you to confirm whether you want to continue at the correct price or cancel, and we will refund you in full if you cancel.

How an order is formed

Our website listings are an invitation to order, not an offer. Your order is an offer to buy. The order confirmation we send immediately after checkout acknowledges receipt; it does not form a contract. A contract comes into being when we confirm that we accept your order or, if earlier, when we despatch the goods.

We may decline an order — for example where goods are unavailable, where an error of the kind described above has occurred, where we cannot deliver to your address, or where payment is not authorised. If we decline your order we will tell you and refund any payment taken.

Payment

Payment is taken by the methods shown at checkout, through our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details. Where we have agreed an account or payment terms with you in writing, those terms apply instead. Goods remain our property until we have received payment in full.

Delivery

We deliver to the address you give at checkout. Delivery options, charges and any estimated despatch time are shown before you pay. Estimated dates are estimates, not guarantees; time is not of the essence unless we have agreed a delivery date with you in writing.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check the consignment on arrival and tell us about any shortage, visible damage or incorrect item within a reasonable time of delivery, and as soon as possible where the carrier’s own claim period is shorter. Machines may need suitable access, offloading and siting arrangements at your premises; please tell us about site restrictions before delivery.

If nobody is available to take delivery and the goods are returned to us, we may charge the reasonable cost of redelivery.

Faulty or incorrect goods

If goods arrive damaged, faulty or not as described, contact us with your order number, a description of the problem and photographs where they help. We will arrange repair, replacement or a refund as appropriate, and we will cover the cost of return in those circumstances. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights in respect of goods that are not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose or not as described.

Where a product carries a manufacturer’s warranty, we will pass on the claim and support it. A warranty does not cover fair wear and tear, consumable items such as pins and compounds, damage from misuse, unsuitable compounds or process liquids, operation outside the machine’s documented limits, or work carried out on the machine by anyone we have not authorised.

Cancellation and returns

If you are buying as a consumer — that is, wholly or mainly outside a business — you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 to cancel an online order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. Tell us by email within that period, return the goods within 14 days of telling us, and we will refund the price and the standard outward delivery charge within 14 days of receiving them back. You pay the cost of return, you must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession, and we may reduce the refund to reflect handling beyond what is needed to inspect them. The right does not apply to goods made or configured to your specification.

If you are buying for a business, the statutory cancellation right above does not apply. We will consider a return of unused, unopened stock items in their original packaging if you ask us within 14 days of delivery; the return is at our discretion, carriage is at your cost, a handling charge may apply, and special-order, made-to-order and configured items cannot be returned. Please obtain a returns reference from us before sending anything back, so that we can identify it.

Safety, training and suitability

Deburring machines are industrial equipment. They involve strong magnetic fields, process liquids, heated liquid in some models and sharp media. Keep people with implanted medical devices, and magnetically sensitive equipment and media, away from an operating machine as the manufacturer’s documentation directs.

You are responsible for installing and operating the equipment safely and lawfully at your site, for your own risk assessment and operator training, and for compliance with your obligations as an employer. You are also responsible for deciding that the process is suitable for your components and for inspecting finished parts against your own acceptance criteria. We are glad to advise, and we will say plainly when we think another finishing method is a better fit — but the decision to adopt a process for production parts is yours.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Consumers’ statutory rights are unaffected.

Subject to that, and where you are buying for a business: we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of production, loss of contracts, loss of anticipated savings, scrapped or reworked parts, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss, however caused; and our total liability arising out of or in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for the goods concerned. We are not liable for loss arising from your use of general technical guidance published on this site, where no written advice specific to your components was given.

Events outside our control

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control, including a manufacturer’s or carrier’s failure, industrial action, transport or supply disruption, utility or network failure, fire, flood, severe weather, epidemic, or an act of government. We will tell you and, where the delay is substantial, you may cancel the affected part of the order and we will refund any payment for goods not delivered.

General

Privacy. We handle personal data as described in our privacy policy.

Changes. We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order.

Transfer. You may not transfer your rights under an order without our written consent. We may transfer ours to a business that succeeds to this part of our business, without reducing your rights.

Severance and waiver. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. A delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it.

Third parties. These terms are between you and us. No one else has rights to enforce them.

Governing law. These terms and any order are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your own courts.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us first: email [email protected] or call 0118 977 0099 and ask for the person handling your order. We will acknowledge your complaint and tell you how we intend to resolve it.
